Exceptional 95% Complete Sauropod Skeleton
Offered here is an extraordinary specimen of Camarasaurus sp., one of the most recognizable and scientifically important sauropod dinosaurs from the Late Jurassic Morrison Formation of North America.
Discovered in 2015 in Johnson County, Wyoming, within the legendary Morrison Formation, this remarkable specimen represents one of the most complete Camarasaurus individuals known. Approximately 95% of the skeleton was recovered, providing an exceptional opportunity for both scientific study and museum-quality exhibition.
Based on the prepared material, the animal is estimated to have reached an impressive 15 metres (49 feet) in length during life. Camarasaurus was a massive herbivorous dinosaur that roamed North America approximately 155 to 145 million years ago, during the Late Jurassic Period.
The specimen has been extensively prepared and conserved, with significant portions already cleaned and stabilized. The material includes a substantial amount of original skeletal elements, preserving critical anatomical information and offering outstanding potential for a complete scientific reconstruction and custom museum mount.
With its exceptional completeness, documented provenance, and outstanding display potential, this Camarasaurus represents a rare opportunity to acquire a major dinosaur specimen from one of the most celebrated fossil-bearing formations in the world.
